Old Zuni Pawn Channel Inlay Bolo Tie / Pendant

With it’s five sterling rails and nine inlayed stones, this bolo tie / pendant would make a great addition to any collection. The red, white and blue color scheme, incorporating coral, Sleeping Beauty turquoise and mother of pearl in an offset pattern, is a stunning design element. That the bolo can be used as a pendant by removing the lanyard is very unusual and something I have not seen previous. The bolo tie measures 2 3/8” by 1 3/8”, weighs 46 grams, including the lanyard and fancy sterling tips. The lanyard is 38” long including the tips, it’s stamped “GC”, a talented, unknown Zuni artisan and tests positive for sterling. This is a very unusual piece and highly collectable due to it’s dual function
and outstanding craftsmanship.
