The attention to detail on this handcrafted tourist era Navajo bracelet (ca. 1930s ) is remarkable in many respects. The beautiful flat bezel set Hatchita Mine turquoise stone is a fantastic example of the mine, with it’s tan matrix and intense green color. The Thunderbirds are applied to the bracelet and the whole thing is artfully hand stamped. It weighs 15 grams, measures 9/16” wide at the center, 5” around the inside plus a 1” gap and there’s no artisan hallmark. Please note the bug stamps and the sunburst treatment. The bracelet is in excellent condition and covered in warm age patina.
