The craftsmanship that went into this bracelet is exceptional. Two rows of floating triangle overlay pieces were individually soldered to the face of the bracelet and the pattern of the triangles is imperfect in many respects, speaking very loudly to the labor intensity and handcrafted nature of this magnificent Navajo piece. Working “by eye” is a traditional process, disregarding measurement tools and letting nature guide your decisions and actions when creating a piece–this bracelet is an outstanding example. The domed design makes for a very nice look and the triangle pattern is attractive and eye-catching. This is a man-sized bracelet, measuring 6” around the inside plus a 1” gap and it weighs an impressive 81 grams. The face of the bracelet is 1.25” tall all the way around and the terminal treatments are undetectable. This beautiful old bracelet, by untraceable Navajo artisan “Bluehorse,” is highly collectable, in excellent condition and covered in warm age patina. The hallmark is done with an engraving pen.
Due to the construction technique used on this bracelet, it is not adjustable for size.
