This is one of those bracelets that really stands out. The five perfectly matched Bisbee mine stones are a wonderful turquoise color with matrix that accents them well. Set in handcrafted flat bezels, the irregularly shaped stones were no doubt the inspiration for this piece. The shallow shadowbox design make the stones pop very nicely. The stamping is simple and traditional and their slight misalignment really speaks to the age of the bracelet. The fact that there is no artisan hallmark, along with the bracelets age indications, lead me to believe this was made by a Native American for a Native American–you don’t see pieces of this caliber and age very often—lots of wear indications and patina. 5.5” around the inside plus a 1” gap, weighing 69 grams. Face height at center is 1 5/8”. Excellent condition, craftsmanship, and very collectable. I’ll be wearing this one until it sells.
