From the green hue and the copper matrix, I’m thinking the stone is from the Ajax mine. Terrific sterling treatment on this vintage Navajo ring; hand stamped flat bezel (very rare), thin coiled wire around the stone and a much thicker hand stamped wire edge with a single, perfectly placed raindrop. This is a substantial ring, with all construction elements being thick, heavy and very well put together. The double-chased shank is artfully done. Ring is a size 7.75, weighs 15 grams and the face measures 1.75” by 7/8”. Nice age patina and it’s in excellent condition.
