This unusual, and very well crafted Navajo necklace is in fantastic condition. The construction is outstanding in every way. Each wave element varies slightly in shape, the chain and clasp are handcrafted, and the method used to link the elements together is the sign of a dedicated craftsperson—there is no artisan hallmark. Tests positive for sterling, weighs 41 grams and measures 16.5 inches long. A very unusual piece from the early 20th century in exceptional condition.
