This Navajo choker features graduated stones of turquoise from several mines, white shell, jet and coral. Tones show considerable wear/age—I’m certain this piece is very old–perhaps around 1900 / 1920. It’s strung on the original waxed string with a handmade clasp. 15.25” long and weighs 15 grams. A couple of the stones have tiny chips in them, but it just adds to the aged character of the piece. Lots of personality and it looks amazing when worn. Excellent early vintage condition.
