It’s quite rare to find a TAXCO piece with the identifying square sterling tag still attached. These marvelous handcrafted earrings have such a tag marked “Mexico, TX-158, 925”. Their design is breathtaking and the handcrafted nature indicates the artisan was talented and much sought after when considering the tag. The sterling wire used to create this earring set is thicker than what you might expect, and has been crafted into a beautiful flowing design. The connecting elements as well as the beads are also handcrafted. The attention to detail is outstanding with all connection points for the wires being clean and exacting. The wire spheres measure 9/16” across, the full dangle length including the ear wires is 2 3/8” and the set weighs 12 grams. An amazing and unusual set for the TAXCO collector.
