I hesitate to put a name to this stone as it’s intense, defined matrix could be from a couple of sources. My best guess is it’s from the #8 mine or a rare variety of the Pilot Mountain mine. Beautiful turquoise color. Stone measures 1” by .5” and the sterling setting is artfully crafted employing file work and understated, elegant design elements. The whole face of the ring is mounted to a thick sterling plate with a double split shank. Ring is a size 9.5 and weighs 6 grams. Nice warm age patina. No artisan hallmark. Excellent condition.
