This is a pretty sizable pin, measuring 2.5” by 2”, the coral stone measures 9/16” by 3/8” and the pin weighs 25 grams. Terrific stamping and chisel chasing work with the chasing showing that there were a couple of false starts, which adds to the handcrafted nature of this piece. No artisan hallmark which speaks to the age of the pin. Tests positive for sterling. Beautiful, dark red Ox Blood coral set firmly in sawtooth bezel. Excellent condition with light age patina.
