This Large Chimayo hand woven rug incorporates subtle earth tones accented with bright red, patterned stripes. The rug is in outstanding condition with zero damage, the tassels are intact and the design is delicate and unusual. It’s an older rug, dating to the 1950s or ’60s, with no identifying shop tag, indicating it it’s not based on a pre-determined design and is solely the vision of the artisan that created it. It measures 71β by 41β not counting the tassels. The images are larger in this video. It’s light weight in nature and would work best as a wall hanging, making an excellent addition to any Southwestern dΓ©cor environment.
